Bank of America 申請限制
Bank of America 的信用卡審核除了信用分數與信用紀錄外，也會參考近期新開信用卡帳戶數量。
常見的申請規則可整理為：

這些並非 Bank of America 公開保證的核卡標準，而是根據長期申請案例整理出的經驗規則，因此實際核卡仍以 BofA 審核結果為準。
對剛開始建立美國信用紀錄的人，我不建議把 Bank of America 當成第一張美國信用卡。
外國人可以申請嗎？
可以，但通常需要先建立美國信用紀錄。
外國人申請 Bank of America 信用卡時，通常需要 SSN 或可被 BofA 系統接受的稅務身分資料，同時還要有足夠的美國信用紀錄。只有 ITIN 並不代表一定可以通過審核。
對完全沒有美國信用紀錄的外國人，我比較推薦的路線是：
本國 American Express → Amex Global Card Relationship → 美國 Amex → 建立美國信用紀錄 → Bank of America
American Express 的 Global Card Relationship 可以利用部分海外地區既有的 Amex 持卡紀錄，協助申請美國 American Express 信用卡，因此對剛進入美國信用卡市場的外國人而言，是相對實用的起點。
取得第一張美國 Amex 後，先正常使用並累積一段時間的美國信用紀錄，再申請 Bank of America Atmos Rewards 等信用卡，通常會比完全沒有美國信用紀錄時直接申請更合理。
如果本身已經有 Bank of America Checking / Savings Account，建立 banking relationship 對後續申請 BofA 信用卡也可能有幫助。
